From the mountain station Steinmäderbahn in Lech the way goes just a few stair steps up to the Mohnensattel (Sattel; german word for saddle). The first descent leads you down to the Butzensee (See; german word for lake). From this point you go left heading to the Butzensattel. Reaching the Butzensattel is very rewarding, but you may want to take the shortcut down to the Schwarzes Loch. After a slight ascent you ski down directly to the Schwarzes Loch. Once you reach the bottom of the valley you go in a straight line up the next hill until the Fürggele (mountain, peak?). Now you ski over the cornice down to the opposite flat side. After another short and steep ascent you will reach the Schafjöchle. The view onto the Rothorn and the vast slopes is just astonishing.
